Adobe Premiere™ Version 2 for Macintosh®
The digital movie-making and video production tool
Now it’s easier than ever to create high-quality QuickTime™ digital movies and videotapes. Adobe Premiere 2.0 software is the powerful editing program that lets you easily combine video, audio, animation, still images and graphics to bring your ideas to life. It’s like having a professional movie studio on your desktop.
Put Your Ideas in Motion
Adobe Premiere software is ideal for professionals who need a nonlinear off-line editing system or a way to create detailed, realistic storyboards. If you produce corporate, training and other videos, Adobe Premiere lets you do all editing on-line, including graphics and special effects, right on your Macintosh. You need no costly special effects hardware or outside production services. And you can incorporate video images into multimedia presentations, reducing the need for complex animation processes.
Making a movie with Adobe Premiere software is as simple as gathering your clips and arranging them in the order you want them to play. First, record your video footage in QuickTime format, within Adobe Premiere. Then import other visual and audio files, including those created with Adobe Illustrator™ and Adobe Photoshop™ software.
You can arrange clips linearly, with simple cuts, or layer them with dramatic transitions, such as dissolves, page turns and spins. To create special effects, you can isolate areas of moving or still images and superimpose those images on other clips. You can control their motion across the screen, “flying” them along a path with twisting, zooming, rotation and distortion effects. You can even apply plug-in filters, including ones compatible with Adobe Photoshop software, to generate tints, distortions, replications and more. And when you’re through, you can produce your QuickTime movie for small- or full-screen viewing, or create edit decision lists for export to professional production equipment.
Adobe Premiere software gives you creative control of QuickTime digital movies – and the power to deliver your message with greater impact than ever before.
